I personally think that Lupe did this not because he was mad at Prolyfic or Nahright.. But he did this so all of those dickriding stans who think that he's God can realize that he's a regular human being just like you and I.. And so the fans like Sierra Luella Mink can fall back.

Check out these comments where she said that Lupe is God on earth..

Originally, he used the name Fiasco due to his hispanic friends he grew up with; His thoughts were somewhat of Lupe The Terrible (Fiasco = Terrible). As time progressed, he was soon informed that Lupe Fiasco in fact meant Lupe IS terrible.

sorry guys but Pro has a point. The only thing I'd disagree on is not making the music he wants to make. Lupe can do Lupe. But the way he regards his fans (other than in ONE semtex interview) and his lack of music is a problem. Atlantic didn't have a problem with either of his other two records, neither was some overly commercial work, so you can't say Atlantic "doesn't want to push it". There is more than you know at work, clearly, and for Lupe to act like it's completely out of his hands is silly.

And as for Rhymestyle - Eddie might have said it poorly, but there's a difference between a record contract and not knowing how to work the system. Piss a label off (ON SOME PERSONAL SHIT) and you don't get what you need in terms of support. I'm fairly certain it's not because he "doesn't make commercial songs". He sold 300 some odd thousand on Food and Liquor with no mainstream hit. 600 some odd with a number 9 song. I really doubt that the commercial viability of his music is not the issue. The album has been done, and he's obviously not making changes and Atlantic reps have already said its good...the issue with his lack of presence is not the music...its him and his attitude.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER AGREED WITH PROLYFIC.

Usually he does come across as bitter, but I know all the people that put their all into his creation (some have come and gone) and he's squandering it, as well as some of the most loyal fans I've ever seen.

*ahem* Ether time:

First I must address the person who said don't listen to JC, irony is 99% of all Lupe fans HATE wayne with a passion and never stop talking about him instead of just NOT listening like that guy said to you about not listening to JC...

ok second, Eljay how do you hate Lu when you actually listen to him? Forgot that people can't have opinions about others AND still listen to them and you know be fans and stuff.

Third, people need to lay off with the hate for Atlantic, they're actually a really good label they actually do put in work, it just happens that everyone thinks they're a bad label because of the whole Lupe situation and blogs dislike them because they C&D leaked songs... In other words, they're hated for being a successful Company.

Fourth, I rather the album take another year to come out if its going to be amazing than it drop now... After all, there IS a reason why the album was completed and turned in 3 times now... Think about it... Until it comes out, I'm happy listening to Charles Hamilton, QuESt, S-Preme, etc, you guys should too. Yup.

Fifth, King Eljay's mama is a man, so he needs all the support he can get right now.

Sixth, I'm superior to Eljay in Street Fighter

Seventh, Lupe fans stop getting offended when you see something about your favorite artist, people have opinions and you'd be surprise how dead on they are...

Eight, I love how everytime you write about Lu, the situation explodes with Lupe fans... its like Taboo or something?

Ninth, Your mother is still a man.

Okbye... also I guess I didn't really ether, but I don't care. #kbai
