10 Things (Panera Bread)

My homie Sarah altered this pic....dope....

Decided that I could just post this on the blogsite for the time being. Got a Jay-Z album review coming in a couple of days. Nice…

This is basically 10 things loosely/strongly associated with my job that I’ve either learned, heard, do, whatever. More “organized” writings later…

10 THINGS - Panera Bread

1) I like writing. It doesn’t even really matter what I’m writing, I just like writing. Even while I’m at work, I’m writing.

2) I work with a guy at my job who lives on Rainbow Road…. seriously…

3) Situation: I’m wiping down a table, and there’s three people in the booth next to me. 2 guys, 1 girl…Thankfully, no cup… lol…get it?

2 Guys, 1 Girl, no cup?

Haha!

She says something real smart, I forget what. That’s irrelevant. His response, and I quote:

“Why don’t you go back to Kansas, find some bologna or some s**t, and adjust the cinderblocks your house sits on and SHUT UP?”

I STILL laugh about that…

4) I’ve been called racist twice while working. Once because a guy had to wait two minutes for a refund (because the computer crashed) and once because the guy I was training was an idiot.

5) Both racial comments were by black people. Sad.

6) I’ve come dangerously close to slicing my hand off using the meat slicer. I’ve never used it since. I have no idea how I didnt get injured.

7) I went and bought a DVR for my room because I missed almost every game of the now-legendary Bulls-Celtics playoff matchup due to me working at Panera every night. I swore to myself…that would never happen again… I’ve seen every playoff basketball game that’s been on TV since. lol.

8) The whole time I’ve been at Panera, I’ve only seen ONE GIRL there ever show interest in newspapers, and that was today. 2 years, no girls readin newspapers. They’re usually texting on their phone… random…

9) I’ve learned that usually if people have a problem with you, they don’t come to you. They go to everyone except you.

10) Good news actually does spread fast around the workplace..but bad news spreads faster. People are way more interested in controversy than celebration. Especially at work.

Quick hit. Here you go. More stuff soon.
